The short version. This site explains insurance and offers free tools. It doesn't sell you a policy. Nothing here is a quote or coverage: you are insured only when an insurance company issues your policy. Harmony is licensed in Illinois only.
1Using this site
By using theharmonyagency.com, its free tools, or the Client Suite at portal.theharmonyagency.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. "Harmony", "we" and "us" mean Harmony Financial, a DBA of Harmony Financial Group.
2What Harmony is
Harmony is an independent insurance brokerage. We shop for, place and look after insurance for households.
We are not an insurance company. We don't issue policies, decide who is covered, or decide claims, and we can't promise coverage, approval, savings, prices or a claim's outcome. Your policy, as the insurance company writes it, decides what is covered. Nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal or accounting advice.
3Nothing here is insurance yet
Booking a call, finishing a tool, or sending us a message, a paper or a payment does not start any coverage.
You are insured only when an insurance company issues your policy and confirms it has started. If you need cover from a certain date, say so and get it confirmed in writing. Don't cancel a policy until its replacement is confirmed in writing.
4The free tools
The Life Insurance Calculator, the Coverage Gap Finder and the Coverage IQ game are for learning. They work only from what you type, and their answers are estimates, not quotes or offers. They don't know your health or any insurance company's prices. We don't save your results. What you really need is best settled in a conversation, using your actual policies.
5Where we are licensed
Shakari Granberry is a licensed insurance producer in the State of Illinois (License No. 21253502, NPN 21253502), and in Illinois only. We can't advise on or place insurance in other states. Anyone's licence can be checked on the national lookup.
6Booking a call
A Clarity Call is a short first conversation. It isn't a full review of your policies, an application, or advice about a specific policy. When you book one or give us your number or email, we may contact you about your insurance by phone, text and email, and you can tell us to stop at any time. The Privacy Policy says how we look after what you tell us.
7How Harmony is paid
You don't pay Harmony a fee. You pay the normal price of your policy, and the insurance company pays Harmony when a policy is placed. That amount differs between companies and products, so we don't earn the same on every option we show you. Ask what we're paid on anything we recommend, and we'll tell you.
8The Client Suite
Your sign-in is yours alone. Keep it private, give us accurate information, and tell us quickly if you think someone else has used it. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share. We may close an account that is misused or when we stop working together, and we may change what the Client Suite offers.
9Second Look partners
The Second Look Referral Program is for licensed insurance agents. By taking part you confirm that your licence is current, that you have the client's permission for each referral, and that you follow the program's rules and the law. No money is paid in either direction. A referral doesn't make us partners, employees or agents of each other. Squaring the program with your own agency and insurance company agreements is up to you.
10Medicare
Medicare is handled in its own appointment, separate from other insurance, under the federal rules for Medicare. The notice about which plans we offer is at the foot of every page.
11Fair use, and what's ours
Please don't try to break into this site, copy it in bulk, interfere with how it runs, pretend to be someone else, or use it to break the law. The words, design, drawings, logo and tools belong to Harmony Financial Group. You're welcome to read, print and share links to them, but not to copy them for your own business without our written permission. Other companies' names and logos belong to them, and a link to another company's site is not a promise about it.
12The site as it is
We work to keep this site accurate and working, but we offer it "as is" and "as available", without guarantees, as far as the law allows. Rules, prices and what insurance companies will write all change. Nothing here replaces reading your own policy.
As far as the law allows, Harmony Financial Group and the people working with it aren't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses from using this site or its tools, including a decision made from a tool's estimate. Nothing here limits what the law won't let us limit, or our duties to you as your licensed insurance broker.
13If you have a problem
Tell us first; most things are one phone call. Call 773-517-9681 or email granberryshakari@gmail.com, and give us 30 days to put it right. If we can't settle it, Illinois law applies and the case goes to a state or federal court in Illinois. You can contact the Illinois Department of Insurance about a licensed agent at any time.
14The rest
If we change these terms, the date at the top changes, and using the site after that means you accept the change. If one part is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms and the Privacy Policy cover your use of this site. They don't change any insurance policy or any separate written agreement between us.
